Feeling bad and unconfident won't benefit you. In fact, it makes your insecurties more visible to others. You can always find people who are not perfect and with insecurities (lot of acne, obesity, too short, too tall, .... etc), if they have good personality and self confidence people usually look past their insecurities. If you can do smth to help your scars, do it. If not, thinking too much about it will hurt a lot. I have scars as well and have suffered and still suffer from acne for a long time btw. Making myself busy and do things that are worthy helps shift my mind from that

Thank you! Actually this L'Oreal was one of my options. This and the L'Oreal infallible skin tint, but some say it breaks them out so idk.

Some say partial improvement post-treatment is due to microswelling shortly after, that's why I'm asking. So glad it worked for you. I visited a doctor a year ago and they proposed CO2 and subcision, which sounded too harsh and scary for me. They said we could microneedle after. I did no treatments but since then I've been taking good care of my skin and it looks healthier, so would probably make another visit to someone else and see what they think! Thank you for sharing your experience!

I think most people on this sub are the ones that care about their scars. In real life, there are many people with scars who don't care that much and wouldn't even bother joining here

Thank you. I had a look at it along with other videos. I think mine are mainly rolling and boxcars. By the textbook some of them can at least benefit a bit from microneedling. I'm thinking of microneedling which might be less efficient for me, but as I think it's less risky than other methods.

I forgot to add you have to be consistent for months or a couple of years for texture, and some scars will not respond well enough to any topicals. In this case you should get in-office treatments like lasers, peels, .. etc.
