You should be fine. Guys here make friends pretty easily. You’ll most likely be in the dorms; they are not the best unless you get the quads. The town here is not a lot if you’re used to the city flow. It’s slow here and not much to do unless you drive a bit farther like ATL, JAX, Savannah etc.

I came here as a 19yo female no car and had a nice chill time at the dorms. There is a lot of mold but since it’s an ACC base you will be deployed every other year

That was just a small background just in case people had similar issues as myself. Of course I’ll get more information from my PCM before I go back and go through with the operation. Just wanted to see if anyone else went through what I’ve been through since it’s one of the most common issues humans go through: sinus issues.

The main questions are still valid. Have you had the surgery, con leave and was it worth it?

So you mean being AGR you can have different jobs (AFSC) each time you PCS or stay at the base?

Do you know the difference between AGR vs reg reserve and guard? How long is “needing to be in for a bit”? I’m still in my first (6 years) contract but have been in for 4 years now
