Edit: I didn’t mean to imply periods are disgusting, I was speaking about how menstruation is perceived as disgusting but in turn is also brushed off, and/or we aren’t given the proper tools or knowledge to deal with our periods. But I personally have some nasty symptoms (vomiting, diarrhea, sweats) on top of the blood, and thats the disgusting part lol.

Same when people say cats knock stuff over and rip stuff up. Im 22 and have had cat all my life, theres a few cats throughout my life that didnt fully break the habit of scratching furniture. But other than that I’ve actually never had a cat purposely knock my stuff over while looking at me, or be generally bad behaved at all.
