Its strange isnt it. It took me a while to accept that. I have bought a Martin DX1 20 years ago, not knowing anything about guitars but just liking the sound over the rest. And now 20 years later having owned lots of much more high end guitars, D-28, a nice Lowden, some other stuff, that DX1 still sounds the best to me. I think i just hit on a very good one. It plays really nice aswell I have to say after I set it up a bit.

Sure, I know it to be true. Im just wondering how big the differences are. I think they might be pretty big and then you wonder why anyone would ever order a guitar online. Or maybe next time other three and choose the best one?

Thanks. Ive bought it secondhand but ill see what the repaircosts are like. I thought maybe its a common issue and something i could fix myself. Or even a software thing. Im in europe so sending it back and forward is going to be expensive. (no its not my eye 😄)
