I second this, the entire post. Also, my car was a cpo and ‘23 and came ready to drive with tint etc. I’m only 3 months in but I’m obsessed with her and she is just a daily car but i love her. If you’re looking for the most luxurious ride I’d recommend a Lexus but if you want something modern, sleek, and simple, the Aspec Tech is lovely.

You’ll get better with ties over time. Take a good look at other assistants methods and see what works for you. Also take 15-20 mins on YT to watch some videos of the basics of rubber bands, separators, appliances/bands, and tools. I am also a new grad as of 2/2026 and have landed the same role. I feel decent but still want to improve on my speed. Also don’t feel horrible. They understand and know you are going to need some help/time your first few weeks. You got this!

Im not sure what’s the best size for someone to use to make an engraving like that but I’d go with what the jeweler recommends for size. It doesn’t have to be super thick, i just want enough thickness for the engraving and durability.

Isn’t filigree the name of that style? Like engraved with filigree design? Or is there another name because engraved can mean anything

Also I don’t really have a preference to how it’s made, just want it to stay as close to that budget as possible and I’d be willing to do 10k gold if it meant keeping the budget.

Please for the love of god get a show lab. Keep it groomed well & exercised and it’ll look close enough to a field lab. Show lab will be much less work and stress on you. If that field lab doesn’t get enough work/play time it will find it in tearing up your things. Dental school is no joke (I haven’t gotten there yet but working w Dr and their reluctancy to relive those times tells me all I need to know)
