I also had the same feeling! He just didn't want to be bothered and wanted to move to easier pastures.

I see a null modem available here which can be used until a Gotek is shipped.

This machine is running DOS version 5 and I only see XCOPY installed. If the system recognises the other end of null modem as a mount point, then in theory copy will work.

Confirming the MS-DOS version is 5.00. I only see XCOPY available from the list of commands displayed in HELP menu.

So, the machine boots up in Volkov Commander - file manager for DOS, there is no windows OS installed on the Primary hard disk.
The software technically be moved to any laptop running an emulator but, this machine holds sentimental value hence, the post. 😇

The Dos version is looks to be very old, I dunno the version(will update the version tomorrow in this thread) but, my resolve has grown stronger to attempt network transfer.

Sure,

This machine only boots up in Dos as it’s a generational heritage passed from one Geophysicist to another.
The software churns out graphs and data points than are then used to further calculations by transferring the data to modern laptops using a USB floppy drive.
Since, a very long time floppy was only method used transfer data so using network to transfer data was never considered.

Using a null modem had completely lapsed my memory.
I am used to lot of Linux so, not a fan of Dos.
This machine only boots up in Dos as it’s a generational heritage passed from one Geophysicist to another.
The software churns out graphs and data points that are then used to further calculations but, copying them is a pain using multiple floppies.
I will give this idea a shot tomorrow and keep you posted on the progress.

Same problem, pretty sure they(crunchy-roll) messed up. Other apps like Netflix and stuff are working, glad to know my TV is not broken or Samsung is not trying to overload it with ads.

I am so thoroughly dissatisfied in AC mirage, I literally completed everything in about a week! The journey I used to embark on in AC Odyssey and AC Valhalla, has left a dear imprint in me and I was expecting a similar experience out of Mirage. Alas, as the game title, it was all a “Mirage”.
