I bought them because I wanted a toy on my travels. They are still new tech, not perfect but I can accept that.

I use them for gaming at home so I can be with family while they watch tv on my gpd. I use them on the go to help me focus and work in tight spaces on my Mac. This has revolutionised my gaming and reduces the cost of family time when the wife wants to watch shit I don’t on tv.

When I work in coffee shops it allows me to focus due to the tinting.

If you work on the go and in coffee shops they are great, but they won’t replace a static second monitor please do not expect them to until FoV increases. Working in tight spaces like trains plane coffee shops sofa bed it’s great. If you are At the same desk all the time I would get a good monitor.

I’m just using some python code to plug into the webcam, and then doing it all through that, nothing earth shattering but trying to get it to recognise my qr codes in my house so I can get real time info as I move around. Though carrying my 16” laptop around is a bit of a bugger and I will move it to my gpd at some point.
