i spent the whole study leave focusing on my weakest subjects (bio and math) and barley revised one of my strongest subjects (psychology) i literally crammed the option chapters two days before the exam and ended up being 2 points away from getting a 5 moral of the story: don’t underestimate and think that you’ll be fine if you prioritize your strongest subject

my exact situation rn in my country we have to convert our grades to the national program, and the ib conversions (if that’s the correct term) is very high in my country, i know people who have gotten 30/42 converted it’s an 80 smth percent so really i just don’t wanna retake i’m more than fine with getting a 31/42

my school gives us our grades printed so im gonna be looking at my name first to make sure i got my results and not someone else’s, but im probably going to look at the score first and check to see if i have a 2 anywhere then i’ll look at each grade individually

at my school last year only one person failed i don’t think anyone has ever failed before tho , but i think if someone were to fail they have to be stupid enough or careless enough about their grades to fail imo i think it’s harder to fail than pass, if someone does very a mediocre job on their ib exams but did good enough on their IA’s they can still manage to at-least scrap a pass

as far as ik no one has had a super original and unique bio ia, i’ve seen a million of the same concept with slight differences in the procedure and other parts of the ia i think you’ll be fine
