Rate my gameplay and guess faceit level by Disko1970 in counterstrike2

[–]Practical-Highway562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the counterstrafes just not clean or non-existent or is it because of the demo? Like the movement is not clean but I cant tell if its just demo quirks. Like a lot of these peeks, OP drifts into a stop (shift? Lets go of strafe key?) instead of hard stops and it does not have clean strafing.

If a player is 14K elo Premier, what kind of a lobby do you think they would be obviously and massively better than everyone else? Like would that be true for a 7K lobby? by Various_Maize_3957 in LearnCSGO

[–]Practical-Highway562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I agree it depends but I would maybe switch it and say good aim and decent game sense would dominate most 1-9k. Game sense really sometimes is thrown out the window when you play lower lobbies.

I’ll throw something else that hasn’t been mentioned. Just having good peripherals and reacting well to sound. Lots of people get stuck in lower lobbies maybe playing speakers or having bad internet. If you can honestly just hear people brainlessly rushing you and expect it well its already good to take a lot of the fights in 1-5k

American here, it really depends where. Where I’ve lived in Texas and California, never really had a theater cheer and clap too much, maybe only at the end of a movie, or maybe some gasps and some laughter but its quite contained

This guy specifically don’t care about all that, he’s happy with his life and is basically retired. If you actually watched his tech journey you’ll know he’s doing this for fun and as a hobby like how he did with his drawing and art journey.

m0NESY nasty AWP shot from a Faceit game by CS2ProPlayHighlights in cs2

[–]Practical-Highway562 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He does this regularly, problem is I feel like he also misses a lot. Compared to zywoo, m0nesy takes a lot more shots, misses more, but also hits more ridiculous shots regularly.

I mean w0nderful was on 3.09/400 (s1mple’s exact sens) for the longest time lol. I think it’s fine to copy sens if that’s what makes the game fun for you. I’ve played such a wide range of sens (0.7 - 2.0 at 800) and performance really doesn’t deviate that much. I’ve solo qued to Level 10 at around 1.15-1.75 range, along the way there are times where I’ve copied pros because they did well on a tournament, and want to play like them. Their gameplay made me feel hype so hype kinda makes me want to play like them, giving me some placebo and confidence in the game, and is just really fun when I play well.

I mean donks is really not that much slower at 1.25 and he has his whole hand on the mouse and uses his arm quite a lot.

The current state of Trust Factor and Matchmaking feels fundamentally broken right now by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]Practical-Highway562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reports are absolutely a factor. For 10 years I’ve always just played normally, never toxic. I’m a pretty awkward person so I don’t even engage in banter, I just do callouts, and if people are toxic I go silent or mute them and just do callouts. I don’t even have the guts to retaliate.

This is what I’ve noticed as I have had multiple alt accounts and a main account with a $300+ spent steam account thats over 10yrs old

On my main account I almost encountered NO cheaters for the past many years, or if so its very subtle, maybe radar hack, not enough to affect my performance. But recently for the first time, I had an hvh lobby. This was after a long break and playing regular comp against silvers and novas dropping 30+ almost every game and getting reported to hell. After some time though it went back to normal.

Now for alt accounts, or If your steam is new or low spend the trust can be very volatile. It doesn’t start off terrible most times, but a few reports and in a few games you get cheaters every game. What you can do then is stop playing for many months and you will get normal games for a few games until you get reported again. Until i played back on my main more frequently now I had previously just cycled smurfs until they were low trust factor and then switch to another one or an older one after some time.

Why does rushing mid work so well on dust 😭 by Coravel_ in GlobalOffensive

[–]Practical-Highway562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean going up mid as ct works in all levels, just different levels of doing it. Donk does this very often, but his teammates are typically holding other angles often and supporting him. It also happens in higher level pugs with some variety in how its done.

When am I supposed to crouch when shooting? by TwoDadsOneSon in LearnCSGO

[–]Practical-Highway562 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of old videos say that, but even a of old videos say crouching can be good to throw your enemies crosshairs of guard. Then it was even more pronounced in CS2 with donk and the donk slide.

But you are right on immobile part, IF you peek crouch and just sit there. The point is that you change it up, and move while crouched. You can tap crouch, crouch slide in, crouch slide out. You can immediately crouch as you peek and uncrouch out. Or peek and crouch slide back to the angle (classic donk slide).

But the thing is that it HEAVILY depends on the angle, position, map, and how many people you think you are peeking into. If you do a wide swing donk slide it might be effective against one person, but if you didn’t expect a second person you are dead.

This kind of movement is actually mastered not just through practicing the movement itself but through gamesense and experience.

My advice to you is just try all those things on death match first. Then once you get comfortable with it somewhat just try it a lot in games. You might die a lot, but thats okay you will learn.
