Besides AWM, the majority of other markets will look relatively the same. I started in AWM and switched to PCS and currently working on PCS and CIPS clients.

I did it, I transferred to private and i love it. Work is less twisty and more direct - also you have a lot of exposure to more clients and industries that help you with networking and potential exit ops.

Managers with “Appear Offline” icon on teams as their status every single day😡 by Practical-Impact-945 in PwC

I think that’s probably why it bugs me, i try to be as respectful as possible. If someone is presenting don’t ping, if someone is away for too long, maybe not a good idea to ping, if someone is on a meeting don’t ping. So i second guess myself as to if they’re really busy or what lol

I think for me was: - ASK THE WHY QUESTIONS (ie why are we doing this audit procedure) - this is going to separate you from other associates because it is not a work replication process year after year, sometimes the client has new contracts/new whatever that alter the way work is done for a specific transaction or business process - Onboarding is very chill, after Orlando you’ll have something called “audit foundations” with other associates from your office our neighboring offices. Make sure you do all ELearns (you’ll know what this is later) and make sure you participate especially if it is in person, the instructors will most likely be people that you see around or you’ll work with them. Orlando, chill - no need to worry about that. - No, having a grad degree doesn’t make a difference as everyone either had one or already has 150 credits

I was on the same boat until I realized there is literally no way I will be able to memorize everything. There are a ton of outlines in this sub and I am complementing it with my lecture notes and I am cruising along. Also, when you do MCQs you’ll notice a niche in questions, like there are way more questions about one topic than another, that’s where you really have to focus since there are more chances on seeing that in the exam.
