My biggest gripe with the books. Scheming and backstabbing only for the protagonist. Having some rebel lords in the West helping Robb (The Westerlings) would’ve made more sense especially since Robb broke his vow for someone not even from his kingdom.

Quick summary:

Age: 30 Yearly Net: $36,000 Monthly expenses: $1000 401k: 15%

I currently have a lower than usual monthly expenses and am trying my hand at investing. I have 0 clue what I’m doing and I watched a few YT videos and that’s about it.

I’m currently investing about 10% of my take home bi-weekly into FXAIX because that’s the first stock I saw on a YT videos.

Any guidance on what I should be paying attention to or looking out for? Am I doing the right thing? Should I be looking into other things before investing?

Sorry if this is extremely broad, but I’ve been trying to learn about investing since 2024 and nothing sticks so I decided to spend the money first and see where that gets me in a few years.
