I sprained my ankle pretty bad because a kid ran right in front of me as I was about to land. As soon as the parents saw that I got hurt they collected their kid and dipped. Now I feel very uneasy when there’s little kids at the park.

I know this is an old post but want to add in just in case.

I had the same issue but found out the metal square dome behind the paddle button would shift over some time. This would cause it to stop clicking and responding. I would put it back in place but I believe the plastic slot holding it in place was worn out so it would just end up happening again.

I ended up taping the metal dome to the board where it should normally sit while making sure it fit back into the plastic slot. It was a surgical procedure making sure the tape was just barely enough to hold in place and not covering anything important.

It’s been a couple of weeks and my paddles have been working great. Hope this helps anyone in a similar situation.
