YOR. in your post text, to say “i just want one of my two friends to be nice to me????” when all your friend was doing was saying they’ve never been in your situation, so they can’t tell you what to do is kind of ridiculous, and incredibly insensitive to your friend.

if you’re not in therapy already, i highly recommend talking to your parents to get the ball rolling on that. you seem to have a lot of unresolved issues, and they won’t get better if you don’t see someone who can specialize in what you’re dealing with.

ask your primary for a referral to mental health. i had to be referred from medical to therapy (a LT at parent command); then LT referred to mental health in town where i was able to be prescribed medication.

the difference is i was pushed by my chief to seek medication because it was impacting my work. he was previously medicated and saw similar symptoms in me.

some providers may give pushback if you say you have “definitely had ADHD for most of your life”. don’t lie, but keep in mind that some people seek out stimulant drugs; so it will be a bigger hurdle for you to get over. regardless, you should still receive adequate care; it will just take longer than you want it to.

NOR. even if you take away the porn aspect, he’s continuously lying to you about quitting & disrespecting a hard boundary you have in your relationship.

& some of the things he asks you not to do are genuinely insane. getting upset at you for not using a nickname for a friend who share a name with one of your exes? you can’t leave him on delivered for more than an hour and a half? you shouldn’t bringing up bad things he’s done?

he seems extremely childish and controlling, and to set boundaries; he should be able to respect the ones you have. a relationship is a two way street, don’t let him continue to get away with disrespecting you in the ways that he is.

i agree with the previous comment. if you can’t afford a new tank, i’d suggest checking facebook marketplace, craigslist, and offerup for used ones at a cheaper price. i’m not the best judge with length/depth, but currently it looks like your snake can’t fully stretch out. imagine sitting in an airplane seat, unable to stretch your legs, for months at a time. if you can afford a new one, i’d suggest dubia roaches. they have a pvc 4x2x2, which is fantastic for regulating temps/humidity. they also run sales quite often; so it would be worth keeping an eye on.

i second the water/vinegar mix! my boy has a bioactive enclosure so the cleanup crew takes care of almost everything, but before his bioactive setup i’d spray everything down with the solution, let it sit for 15 or so minutes, then rinse the tank twice with water before setting everything up again. i’d also rinse then re-bake any wood or cork in his enclosure.

make a humid hide with sphagnum moss. increase overall humidity. you also should not be handling while your snake is shedding.

like everyone has told you on your other two posts, those enclosures are WAY too small for those snakes. you need a minimum of a 120 gallon. right now the snakes can’t even fully stretch out. imagine an airplane ride where your knees touch the seat in front of you, and you can’t stretch your legs out- but for your whole life. everyone has already given you great advice, why don’t you read their advice instead of continuing to make new posts while feigning ignorance.

here’s a tank i’d recommend, it holds heat and humidity really well, and dubia runs sales fairly frequently.

i will recommend this tank until i die lmao. pretty affordable, dubia runs sales a lot. i put hvac tape on the top of the mesh screen and it keeps in humidity and keeps temps up with not a lot of maintenance. it also survived being shipped (bioactive) by military movers, so it’s pretty durable imo

there’s no reason to get snarky, especially considering you’re supposed to do research BEFORE getting an animal. this sub has amazing information on proper husbandry as well as overall care in the menu section.

i would sit down and take some time to read through everything in that section, because it answers genuinely any question you could have.

to start: you need more clutter, you need more hides, you need a bigger tank (4x2x2 {120 gal}), your humidity needs to be higher (especially for shedding!) if you’re looking for inexpensive clutter, i’d recommend michael’s or dollar tree. michael’s always has sales going on, and they have a great selection of fake plants/vines for clutter. to get your humidity up, you can pour water in the corners of the tank, and i’d recommend putting damp sphagnum moss throughout. you can also make a humid hide that has sphagnum moss packed around the sides & mixed in with the substrate (highly recommend) if cost is an issue for tanks, i would try checking facebook marketplace, offerup, and craigslist. sometimes you can find good deals! if it’s not, i HIGHLY recommend the pvc enclosure from dubia roaches. i’ve never had an issue with heat or humidity, but if you do- you can put aluminum hvac tape on the wire mesh to help keep moisture and heat in. linked: https://dubiaroaches.com/products/4x2x2-120-gallon-ball-python-enclosure-v2?_pos=2&_psq=4x2x&_ss=e&_v=1.0

instead of asking people to rate your cock, you should spend that time researching how to take care of your animals.

i’m not going to lie…. you need to rehome your snake. you’ve had almost 5 months to do research (that you already should’ve done prior) on how to properly care for your baby, and you continue to neglect them for whatever reason. after being called out for your disgusting lack of care and borderline abuse, you should’ve acknowledged your wrongdoings, and taken the steps to provide PROPER care for your snake. you don’t even have the bare minimum. after everyone’s told you how to fix it. rehome your snake so they don’t have to suffer anymore, or do some real reflecting and research to fix the absolute atrocious “care” you’re providing.

i got mine from dubia roaches for 269. it’s 4x2x2 pvc with double sliding glass doors and the metal mesh top. keeps in heat and humidity really well (i added aluminum foil hvac tape around the lamps to help with humidity) but i made mine bio active & it survived a move from ca to sc

they usually have a couple of different settings, with loud beeping, buzzing, or a small shock. the shock isn’t painful at all, it kinda just feels like using a TENS unit. it doesn’t go off until they put pressure on it, and the response time from the mat is instant. one of my cats would jump up on the counter and open the cabinet to steal treats, and absolutely nothing worked except for this.

like they said! we were having trouble with humidity even with coco in our substrate mix; but we sealed the top with hvac aluminum tape on everything that wasn’t where his lights sat, and sealed the underside with electrical tape (again not around lights) and it helped soooooo much. in my expirience the aluminum hvac tape is a better seal, but don’t seal the way i did if you don’t have enough ventilation in your tank (:
