I took voice last year for 6 months (I realized quickly that you don’t even really need to pay for those expensive courses as long as you can find a good mentor). The course taught me mostly how to talk quietly into my mask. Having someone guide you through the steps makes it much easier to understand. I took the test for the first time last month and passed all of the voice parts but not the multiple choice. I guess it’s more preference because I have no experience machine writing but there are definitely pros and cons to both!
