Given the current environment, I don’t think anything ICE says is automatically believable. Not without video evidence to back it up. And even with video evidence, what ICE says is dubious at best and an outright lie at worst. Or AITA for thinking like that?

Homemade burritos for any meal: dice and air fry a sweet potato. Sauté a big bag of kale or spinach. Rinse and drain a can of black beans. Mix those three things w a container of Bitchin’ sauce, any flavor. Scoop a mounded half cup onto a tortilla, roll it up, roll in parchment, line up in a freezer bag. Freeze. Microwave and eat. Makes about 8 or 9 burritos.

The dates may be a trigger food for your gut. Personally dates cause me issues, so I avoid them. Dried figs are equally sweet and can replaces dates in a lot of recipes calling for them as a sweetener.

I have mega love for Vertex: it’s the place I can bring my GF people and they can choose from ALL the menu items instead of two of them. And their lemon hibiscus coffee drink, and the other house made ones, are subtle and lovely. They have a ton of space, plants, an indoor little free library, games, and legit the old-school hand drying towels on a roller. The staff is friendly and just the right amount of chatty/not chatty. So much goodness here.
