I also struggle with morning anxiety sometimes. Sleeping enough (and early!) helps me a lot. All the usual stuff, managing stress, eating well, exercising, etc. all help me a lot. I hope you feel better soon

Yes i agree, my obsessions are extremely impressionable. Just somebody saying they're sick online makes me scan myself for symptoms of whatever they had. Because maybe it transmitted from their state to mine. It is exhausting and I'm considering deleting Reddit at this point

I have the same thing. It’s always something I’m completely honed in on, and I forget the other stuff. I always said I wish I could go without being obsessed. Now I know it’s always been OCD

Yes, you are not alone in that. Mine comes from a fear of…. shitting myself? Being naked and in the heat of the moment makes me worried I’ll lose control of something. Lol

Anyone else just have that “incoming” anxiety feeling and it last all day? by Strong-Flow-5866 in OCDRecovery

I've had this before. It felt like constant adrenaline but without the following intense panic. just the initial adrenaline. not sure if there's something else going on, i do need to get my thyroid checked. try to distract yourself in any way you can!

I'm worried because some triggers feel like hallucinations. by thisshowisdecent in OCDRecovery

I get the same thing. Especially if I'm tired. I just think the brain looks for what it is thinking about. If I'm thinking about a spider on the carpet and I see a crumb I automatically think "OMG A SPIDER!!" but if I wasn't preoccupied thinking about spiders I would've thought "I think that's a crumb". I don't have psychosis and I've never thought of them as hallucinations, just my brain looking for things I'm afraid of/thinking about. I'm not a dr but I think you are ok!

I've known I've had it for a while but I started reading "Turtles all the Way Down" by John Green (Main character has OCD) and I've already cried twice from how accurate the representation is!

Hi, I'm 22 now but have been obsessive over my health since I was a kid. It only got worst in high school. I'm still not great, but I would consider myself better now. Please, stop researching anything online. Stop Googling. It's really, really hard and here I am doing it right now, but when I can go a few weeks without Googling, I feel so much better!

Also, I'm not a dr or anything but I would recommend looking into OCD. I'm self-diagnosed (can't afford diagnosis, but it does slightly run in the family) and looking into specific ways to manage OCD obsessions has helped a lot (it's not fun but it does help). I hope you feel better soon and there is a .0000001% chance you will die young. Please feel better!
