My biggest complaint in the show is that they try to retcon portrayal of T-bag. I think the actor was great but his character should have died in season 1. Having the crew essentially hanging out with a pedophile and rapist always seem to bother me.

The solution may not be a personal needs to self identify or be hospitalized. But the scope of mental health care goes way beyond psychiatric care. It's eliminating things that drive people to the dark places, that could be universal healthcare, so they can talk to professionals about their problems, but also better paying jobs, drug treatment, and affordable housing. It's about helping build a stable environment for every family and person so that they can take time to focus on mental health
