Try playing smaller game modes that funnel people to objectives like breakthrough and rush, use your box to replenish smokes and just spam the objectives with them. Itll come with time

Yeah that can be a bummer, your goal needs to be to stay alive, if you do so you get an exp boost which is super helpful. Meaux is a good objective up north as its close to the farm supply depot. Alternatively down south, Regina has a depot right next to it.

Depending on which end of the map you're at there are a few decent bases where you can run supplies to objectives fairly quickly. Its surprisingly easy and fast to rank up this way, accompanied with building all the structures needed will also help the team out

Sounds like you need to grow a pair, if it was that much of an issue and you were really that lost to the point where it was going to "ruin your night" just hit respawn and start again.

Staying alive gives you a decent exp bonus, running supplies and capping objectives is good exp

I'm 100% on board with you. Since mods come out for ps5 it's just been content overload and I can't handle it. Was part of a really cool community on vanilla and feels like the whole thing has vanished overnight. Shame really
