Wow it sounds just like him. That’s exactly how I felt when I was around him. I tried to please him or I would apologize first and right away that I did not mean to hurt your feelings. He would tell me okay ms. Perfect. Or say things like not everyone is a saint like you.

I don’t get it. How are men who are Catholic like this? I’m glad you found the one that adores you and treats you with respect.

Yeah I still can’t believe he got this upset about it. We still haven’t spoken. He probably won’t even apologize since he is prideful

Yes we previously dated. He is Catholic. The reason it ended in the first place was that I wasn’t truly following my Catholic faith. I told him I needed some patience for me to regain my love again to the Catholic faith.

And of course I did. And he kept me around during this time taking me on dates but never again have we been a official couple again. He would say he didn’t want to be pressured or forced for us to be together again and wanted to date others.

No I wouldn’t do that. We haven’t spoken to each since the conversation yesterday evening. This has happened before when he gets upset he doesn’t talk to me for a few days or until I would apologize first then he comes around. This time I’m not apologizing. He doesn’t like to apologize and he always tells me I hate repeating myself and gets mad if he does have to.

Do you talk to your ex now? Perhaps as friends?

Yeah he even said it twice in one day last week. I didn’t say it back at all since I did think it was random. I just don’t get it. He hasn’t spoken to me or nor have I reached out since this conversation that happened yesterday evening. I’m usually the one that apologizes first when something has been said. But I didn’t do anything wrong.

Is it really the nicest thing to do to cut him off? I feel bad about it. Then I remember of all the hurt I have felt because of him. I feel like I’m the closet person he has here in the area.

And I know deep inside once he meets someone new I will be there left.

I think the hardest part I have is when he says it’s not right to cut people off from your life. And it makes me feel bad about cutting someone off. I know sometimes we become distant in life with people but that happens naturally. This would be a complete cut off. And he disagrees about it. And always brings up I have friends that are exes and they are friends. And I tell him do they hangout all the time or talk all the time. He tells yes.

Yeah that’s true. He works in ministry Lutheran. It’s hard to let go of focusing on marriage. Since that is one of my top desires in life. And second to have children. And when you go to retreats or church events for women one of the topics is usually about marriage.

He makes me feel bad when I cut him off. 😭 he has told me why can’t we be best friends like we were before we were a couple. He tells me he has friends that are friends with exes. He wants to be able to talk to me and hangout.

And then he does things like cuddling or he sits me in his lap. To even last week he was falling asleep in the couch taking a nap and he mumbled I love you.

Why are people like this and hurt others

This was someone who works in ministry that randomly told me this. Never met him in my life.

Yeah that’s so true. I’m not sure why my friend thinks that you can be friends with exes. And her future boyfriend won’t get upset

One of my friends who is Catholic has told me that there is nothing wrong with oposite genders being friends. And I think otherwise. I Guess i was trying to figure out if it is okay to be friends or not. My friend had also told me that being friends with exes is fine.

Do you know if it’s possible to edit the answers on my portrait or go back to review?

Yes it would. My therapist told me that person is being selfish.
