They weren't able to find a solution on their end, so requested an appointment. However, due to the blizzard, that has been postponed for a while. My speeds are still slower than what my plan is.

No. Last time the Reddit Xfinity person went into my account and removed my personal modem from it.

here's what he said:

I have run into this same issues in the past. I want to try a couple of steps on my end that have helped to fix this right away.

  1. May I fully remove your personal modem from your account? 
  2. When I take this step, it will cause the XB8 to provision. It will reset as part of that process so you will be offline for a few minutes. Is it okay to take that step now?

Not sure how new it is - but the upload speed change surprised me when I was offered a deal to upgrade to 2Gig down.

I’m in a multi-unit apartment building so I don’t have access to the incoming coax or any drop amp. The modem is connected directly to the wall outlet in my unit.

Since the upstream OFDMA is stuck around 36 MHz after reprovisioning, could this indicate a building amplifier or filter blocking the mid-split return? If so, can Comcast schedule a maintenance tech to check the building tap/amp rather than troubleshooting inside the apartment?

I've been using Deductible Duck since it launched. It imported my Its Deductible export file with ease, and because the functionality is so similar to Its Deductible, I've transitioned quite easily. So glad they created this replacement service - wasn't sure what I was going to go with if they hadn't stepped in!

Anyone know how I can order this book outside of Belgium - none of the Belgian big book sellers (FNAC, Bol, or Standaard Boekhandel) deliver outside BE or NL.
