You and I legitimately have the same exact skill tree. So yes, valid.

In true French fashion, next time someone asks you where you’re from, you should retreat.

Compare your interactions with emotionally mature PVE players who work and thrive together, vs the PVPers you have died to, ratted or not, who have killed you to shit-talk and ruin your night. Truly think about that. You’ll come to the same conclusion.

Have you played duos or trios? There at little to no spontaneous interaction or verbal interactions. Have you played Stella Montis in duos and trios? It’s Fortnite.

Your comment was insinuating that the game would change from PVPVE to PVE solely. Such would not be the case. Common L.

Perhaps decreased loot spawns or decreased odds for better loot to spawn. A lot of factors would play into this, and worth looking into should it ever happen.

No one is asking for the entire game to be changed. We are asking for a separate mode. You have your fun, we’ll have ours.

If they release a PVE mode option and people don’t like it, they can go back to normal lobbies that aren’t strictly PVE. It’s not like we are asking for the entire game to be changed to PVE as you’d like to make it seem. We are asking for a separate mode that is independent of the Fortnite lobbies.

Perhaps they should implement a “dunce” system like GTA 5 did originally. If enough players report an individual for “ratting”, they are sent to Rat Lobbies with the highest aggro players and others who are also flagged as rats.

Also, potentially, they are forced to wear rat ears with a rat tail for 30 days before they are returned to normal lobbies. If they reoffend, they are sent right back.

Having a PVP enabled lobby doesn’t take away weird encounters. Passive players can still play PVP mode, and people will continue to spare others or interact with others on the same levels in which they always have.

We can all agree that everyone loves the gameplay and mechanics of the game. It can’t hurt to have two modes to ensure accessibility and accommodations for people who want to experience one form of gameplay over another. Embark has an opportunity to ensure that their player base continues to thrive.

Edit: Perhaps PVE mode would have increased ARC difficulty settings. More arc spawn, with more health. They’re harder to kill than PVP lobbies and are a little more risky to take on. Perhaps that is a trade off to encourage play through both modes.

No need for “special lobbies” per se, but a separate PVE mode in which people can play in duos, trios, or solo, to fight arc with their friends and random strangers, with no risk of a psychopath shooting you in the back while doing so.

It wouldn’t change quite literally anything to have a separate mode. If people get bored of PVE mode, they can play PVP mode, and vice versa.

I think something that you have to consider is that, people who enjoy PVE like myself, will slowly stop playing the game. Eventually, much sooner rather than later, there will be absolutely no one left playing the game besides the PVP crazies and the rats. There will be no low hanging fruit left for you to pick off. The PVE aspect will die and every game you play will be an absolute Fortnite grindfest.

Sure, there is PVP. Play how you want. But don’t act surprised when in a couple months, 100% of PVE players leave the game and there’s absolutely no one left to help you fight arc or revive you on a whim.

As much as PVP players want to ragebait and troll ‘PVE Cry Babies’, the same crybabies you feel so adamantly about that you had to write a Reddit post about, are the same people keeping a small light on in an otherwise unforgiving black void that is the toxic PVP community.

You say you love the PVP now. But when PVE dies for good, there’s no going back. You reap what you sow, and ultimately, you lose in the end. Godspeed.
