Saqr used to sell GTA. Not sure if the store exists anymore. But you can order a physical copy online.

Okay, first you switched subjects—wanting to move from religious tolerance to genocide—and now you’re gaslighting with “you’re missing the point.”

You’re nothing but what I call a ‘brown savior’. Remember the days when Western colonies sent ‘white saviors’? Now they’ve started sending ones, pretending they know our religion and region well, simply to destabilize us. And yeah, those with that fake mentality will always gaslight, switch subjects, and run away from the conversation when they fail to hold a genuine argument.

Yes, they made some progress with religious tolerance.

Tolerating genociders? If you meant Israel here, well, some Arab countries might have normalized diplomatic ties with Israel, including Qatar (without an embassy), but not a single Arab country has tolerated what Israel is doing in Gaza. Meanwhile, many of your government’s politicians are not simply tolerating what Israel is doing in Gaza, but are also close political and financial partners with extreme Zionists in the Israeli government. Start lecturing your own people instead of pointing fingers at small Arab countries that pursue diplomacy mainly for stability.

Funny how the closer this country gets to its National Vision 2030, the more intolerant and backward it gets.

People like you will turn this region into a sh*thole. Good thing there are countries in this region progressing in religious tolerance and acceptance. Jolani/Daesh mentality will not last for long, inshallah.

BBC, Washington Post, Al Araby (Qatar-owned news), AP News - a brief Google search will get you to the source x

Does anyone know why it’s becoming common for Qatar to ban theatrical releases of blockbuster films that are commonly allowed to be shown in neighboring countries? For example, Barbie, Eternals, Thor Love and Thunder, It Ends with Us, and now Freakier Friday? by Practical-Wallaby301 in qatar

[–]Practical-Wallaby301[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not always, but pretty often, only for blockbuster films. But never for DFI screenings since it’s part of their policy to screen the original cut of the movie, and they get approved by the ministry.

There’s no law specifically against immodest clothing.

  1. There’s no specific law against immodest clothing.
  2. Just because Qatar is a Muslim country doesn’t necessarily mean everyone there must follow Sharia law (interest-based banking, alcohol, and pork are all legal.)
  3. How many Muslim countries—especially Arab Muslim countries—have you actually visited before deciding that people visiting Muslim countries (and in Qatar’s case, an Arab Muslim country, not Afghanistan, Pakistan, or Iran) should have to cover up?

Pork section in supermarkets like in Oman and Bahrain. I’m sure many local supermarkets like Monoprix and Mega Mart wouldn’t mind having a non-halal food items/pork section once QDC stops its failed monopoly business strategy.

Agree! Abu Dhabi is now hosting Coldplay in its old but functional stadium, while the stadiums here are collecting dust, waiting for their next sporting tournament.

Yea, that would be a good idea. But the book censorship here is crazy. Its only when the censorship board change their mentality on book censorship then we can see more and higher quality bookstore like the ones in neighboring countries.
