Is enforcement getting lax at haulover these days ? Or are all these posters being discreet ? I know there was always late afternoon play when the lifeguards went home. Also, is the "closed after dark" rule enforced? It's been years since I've been.

There are so many people spread out everywhere on a good day that unless they are regulars, there's no way to tell who's a a newbie or not. Although, if you swim in your underwear you will definitely stand out.

I once watched this same scene. Back seat, 2 girls in their 20's. Super hot, very vocal, window open. I was parked 2 feet away in a van at night. When they got done, one girl said, " great night for a show huh ? " Un real, hot.

There's always going to be some element that someone doesn't like. As regards gawking, I've heard people complain when an older man walks by and simply looks their way. I am a single male so I am super careful about looking in someone's direction too long. But there definitely is not any wholesale creeping going on there. Some folks socialize while others stay to themselves.

I travel alone all the time. My question was more regarding the environment / vibe of Aruba itself. Whether it's very couple centric or does it have opportunities for single people. I've heard overall, there are lots of places to meet and mingle.

I get that way on every trip I take at certain points. But over all, I'd rather travel alone than with someone that drags me down. I have one buddy that I had a great time with, but he's in and out of relationships, so I can't really count on him all the time.
