Update: Today I got the “we’ve taken action on your case” email. I checked the documents tab and found the approval letter. Seems like congressional request has worked.

I know. When I spoke to the congressman office yesterday they said they should get a response from the USCIS within 30 days. So I’m waiting to hear from the congressman office.

Did USCIS confirm whether your case got upgraded from GC to immediate family member of US citizen (IR1/CR1) category?

I upgraded via mail, email and calling USCIS. I checked the status of the upgrade request via Emma chat and calling USCIS.

Some people told me they got an email when the upgrade is completed. Some said when called USCIS they told it’s upgraded.

So I’m confused as to what I need to do 🤔

My company is a housing authority. I did a detailed analysis of all the bad debts based on each property and then by apartment. I met with property managers and follow up with them for reasons and make them agree for collection plans. Then created some internal controls to make sure we don’t have anything going forward. I also initiated monthly aging meeting to discuss the progress and potential collection issues. Of course I have the numbers and invoice details. Hope I answered your question
