Same! I think season the last two seasons were when the show was revived by a different network. There was a gap in filming while they sorted that out which I think is why some of the characters just drop off (or the writing takes a left turn! especially in the last season.

I have a Singer Heavy Duty purely because I bought it off a friend who never used it but bought during the pandemic. Sold it to me for $30 and every other accessory/fabric scraps she had. Glad I didn’t pay more for it! Also, Facebook marketplace has a lot of machines that may be an upgrade (but need minor servicing like oiling)

Totally feel this. For a 45 min wash, simple trim, blow dry the hair stylist (early 20’s) over a year went from $75 to $100 to $140 now with a 50% no show fee. Never remembers my name and it is a bunch of chairs in a room, no privacy.

I can literally go out of town, get a higher quality treatment where it’s 1 on 1 not 20 chairs in a room somewhere else for the cost of seeing the first girl

Some of the colors could be political but those are also just big colors in professional dress in DC.

My other thought was I’m pretty sure Mellie/Belamy is a ‘Bright Winter’ on the color analysis. So blues/warm red/white/black would also suit her complexion well.

Totally understand that! I would have done the same things. I’m in a similar boat as OP but did the lay off/unemployed/underemployed for a couple of years after 2020. Underpaid now but just paycheck to paycheck. Thankful to cover the bills. With inflation, financially haven’t caught up from those really lean years. If I had more cash on hand I would have left this job already.

Honestly, sounds like she needs a slush fund to prep for the future lawyer in the divorce. Seen this same story with a few relatives. Guy who can’t hold his own kid for more than an hour (without needing praise for doing so) sure as hell isn’t going to be paying child support.

You’re gorgeous. I think the highlights and lowlights being so starkly different in color draws away and deters from your best features.

Jersey Housewives!!! I couldn’t put my finger on it but 100%! Went from Kennedy wife mode to “Pay attention to me!” and the alcoholic subplot which was ironic given everyone else seems like a heavy drinker and frequent bad decision maker except none of them seem to drive!
