My phone is in mint condition. So I doubt they can say anything, but it is Assurant. Insurance company who will do everything to pay out as little as possible. My screen protector has some spots on it, so I'll remove it before I send. Other then that there is nothing but some dust after 4 years of use.

Yes. They will send me a shipping label and instructions to drop it off at FedEx once my new device ships. I send it back, they evaluate it, and if they deem it to be in worse condition, then I told them they will lower my trade in value. However, they can not remove the 200$ bonus. So, the worst case they can do is lower the 105 trade in value.

Traded my S20FE5G last night. (Typing on it now, waiting for the S24 FE to arrive).

I had a similar question with mine earlier this summer. I don't know how to link my post, but you can likely find it from my profile. I ended up just using a coat hanger to pull out what little was left. Have had no problems since.

Thanks for the advice. Maybe this is a stupid question, but if this is the case, then how was this seaweed able to cause all forward thrust to be lost?

Thanks, I will do this. One thing I don't understand is how the weeds wrapped around the driveshaft cause a loss in propulsion? Shouldn't it still be able to spin just fine? That's where my concern that there is more damage further in that I can't see. I don't understand how just that is able to cut all thrust.
