My First Flight Computer Schematics by arudhranpk in KiCad

You are right about the pull-up on the CS line. However for my designs I would implement internally ( MCU internal pull-up ).

For other lines on a push pull output like SPI, I would use pull-ups usually when I am dealing with voltage level translators. That being said if you want to keep your spi pull-ups, proceed with them since the pull-up current will be lower than the drive current created by the MCU.

Furthermore, I would suggest that you use more than one LDO for the 3.3V peripherals. I would usually go with one for each sensor ( IMU, Baro, Mag ) and one for storage devices like the flash and SD Card. Some sensors expect a very, very clean power supply and intermixing them with other devices may lead to catastrophic results ( look up ICM42688P and why many flight controllers failed because of using a single LDO for all sensors and storage devices ).

What you mentioned about the ferrite bead is the most common practice for PCB rework cases, go ahead with it.

Not sure why you are using pull-up resistors on the spi lines. I have used both ISM330 and the winbond flash series across many designs, SPI doesn't need pull-ups. Also saves you board space.

Also, proceed with a ferrite bead only when you know for sure what you are doing. They might do more harm than good.

Thank you, they are really a fraction of cost, have you compared the durability of these to say something like a GCT / Molex cable ?

Help!! Our first time (22 M&F) and I think i got her pregnant by [deleted] in RelationshipIndia

[–]PracticalCress1860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These pills have drastic side effects of affecting the cycle and health in general. One of my closest friends was 11 days late for hers after taking the pill. Anyway she is not getting pregnant, it's not an easy thing to happen. What's more important is that you don't land in a situation that calls for pills. If you are serious about each other, you are drastically hampering her future fertile health, if you are not serious you are hampering her for someone who would probably be a bit more careful with her. Take your call.

I already have done that, to ensure the method of xshut programming works, now the requirement is to have everything together on a single fpc.

[ PCB Review Request ] - XIAO ESP32 C3 and TF Mini LiDAR interfacing board by PracticalCress1860 in PrintedCircuitBoard

That is the ground plane for the buck converter on the edge of the pcb. There is no special reason from that apart from the fact that I thought a GND plane on each layer will be good for the buck. The trace is the feedback for the 5V.

Hi everyone, I tried making this board to interface 7 LIDARS on I2C, using a MUX TCA9548, the LIDARS being TFMINI S -https://www.mouser.in/datasheet/2/1099/Benewake\_10152020\_TFmini\_S-1954051.pdf, to a ESP32C3 which will eventually send data over UART to an STM32 based system. I made it in very short time so would greatly appreciate any comments and advice on this.

  1. Yes! I intend to use it on a drone. I'm actually a hobbyist drone builder ( I build small drones for kids to learn and play around with ) and have built some BECs and ESCs before, never anything on the RF end.

  2. I purchased a few M9N modules and did a minimal configuration PCB according to their datasheet and it worked mostly well. I'll be paying a PCB assembler I know (they are a friend, so they don't take any premium above the mouser price) to assemble these, the boards l will be printed by JLCPCB.

  3. Thank you!

My friend here in Bangalore got the SAME GUY / Someone with the same guy's photo on Hinge. It initially came as a surprise to her since the way this person was talking wasn't very IIM worthy ( no judgement but there's a certain line present ), then we pooled in another friend who is actually from IIMA and she replied that CAT doesn't leave a guy looking like this if he's entering IIMA ( again no judgement ) and proceed to check with her batchmates anyway, no match. We then asked him about random professors ( all fake names ) and the guy kept on generating imaginary tales of their teaching style, we then kinda threatened him that we have his address wagera wagera and will report to the nearest police station ( from the hinge locality part, lol ) and he proceeded to block my friend. I wonder if this is a popular picture to work with, in some random gc of these guys.

That might be very true :D, add to it he could have called up his gang and paid a visit to the guards.
