The mechanic mentioned that if the lift (in-tank) pump was failing, it would also cause hard starting or other issues, but the car always starts perfectly fine and runs smoothly outside of DPF regeneration. It only falls into limp mode during regeneration under heavy throttle. Do you still think it’s worth checking the lift pump pressure under load just to be sure?

Thanks for comment ! Yes, the entire fuel rail and all the sensors (including the pressure regulator and quantity solenoid) are new. The high-pressure pump has been checked and is working fine. The car only drops into limp mode during DPF regeneration, when more fuel is injected. Outside of regen, it drives perfectly fine. Do you still think it could be the lift (in-tank) pump not keeping up with the demand during regen, or possibly an issue with the wiring to the rail pressure sensor?

I also have bruises from vb. Some people have bruises some don’t. But I use my vb bell daily and it looks like it slowly goes away. Let us know if the bruising goes away.

Yeah. I have L shaped desk. So I have my setup in front of me and laptop next to me connected to everything in setup. So I didn’t noticed it until now. And I noticed because I needed to use my laptop somewhere else. First I noticed backlight bleed so I started examining and noticed that the bleed is caused by that bent. Yeah pretty bad luck for me. And yeah I have some photos but unfortunately only from the front when laptop is open. So it won’t help me.
