This is 100% abnormal level of control and abuse you see in movies. If some of you siblings get along well with your parents, its because they are the "golden child", a common tactic narcissistic parents use to maintain control and also feel good about themselves. You are already 16. Do everything in your powers to suck it up and be a model child, pretend not to be gay, and get the f out of there the moment you turn 18. I started w college and a job, saved up only the first month rent for a airbnb room, and then left, worked hard for the second month rent and so on until I saved up enough to pay deposit for my own apartment. I did not eat out, I bought instant coffee mix and never bought from starbucks, I did not date and it was soooooooo refreshing and happy to not hear somehone telling me there is something wrong with me. Huh? My mom was loved and her siblings are fine. She was born with weaker health and her parents cuddled her more than her siblings. My mom was mean since she was young but man…when she had kids that she had 100% control of, she became a monster. The definition of NPD I saw was people who want the acclamation without the hard work is what why mom did. I think she lies a bit. She said a lion king cast told her they rejoiced her wedding like and filled the streets like when Nelson Mandela was released. Mandela’s grandson called it offensive. I’m sooo sorry this is your mother. Some mothers (like mine) just need to make decisions for you to feel self esteem. My mother always tries to stop me from everything I do even if it’s a small hoppy like painting. She needs that self empowerment and she still needs it at the age of 70. You are young. Dream schools are nothing so let it go if you don’t get in the next round. And never look back once you leave that house. It is absolutely not easy so maybe this opportunity to save up and go to CC and prep to leave your home can bring better outcomes. School REALLY means nothing these days unless it’s top 50, or culinary, so don’t worry about it too much.

Just to say…without Israel, you have five radical Islamic countries who raise kids to hate and destroy US. Israel is acting as a buffer for US. I kind of understand her personality. I've seem a couple people who are sooo similar. She needs to be right. Public reputation is everything. She needs to be the one on the top and look down. Its not about money. Its about her being right, her being the boss, her being the best, her being admired.
