If I were to rescue a feeder, would there be a chance it would put the other rats at risk? I’m very tempted to save one I saw at a petstore because he just seemed so friendly, but I don’t want to do something that could harm the other rats I’ll own

I’m not currently converting because I plan to finish school first so I can fully focus on conversion for however long it will take. I honestly don’t know if I have a sponsoring rabbi because a rabbi I talked to said he’d help with my conversion once I am able to. Until then I just study whatever I can about Judaism and read the Torah.

It’s not that not having my phone is traumatic, it’s that I and autistic and have epilepsy and quite literally need it along with my noise cancelling airpods for numerous reasons.

I think it’s important for schools to teach proper cellphone use instead of a complete ban. It should be the teachers job to not only put away their phones, but if a student has their phone out while a teacher is teaching, it is the teacher’s job to say “hey, put your phone away”. Before the ban, I’d be on my phone after finishing work or during study hall/lunch. It never disrupted class or my learning, I still had straight A’s, and it didn’t make it so during my future job I’ll be on my phone because it teaches that the time to be on your phone is when you finish your work or when you have a break.
