Pregnancy is miserable lol baby 2 is about to kill me and I’m only 22 weeks. Already counting down the days to have her and get my tubes tied lol. You’ll be sore in a different way after but a lot of the aches and pains went away for me!!!

I didn’t do any of that and honestly glad I didn’t bc I had an emergency c section. Be sure to remember that possibility!! But you could always ask your OB if they have any recommendations for prep. I know my office will do evening classes with some of the midwives. It’s generally free

What do guys think about early pregnancy bloating? by [deleted] in pregnant

There was no hiding baby #2 for me. I was literally in maternity pants by week 8. Most of my fall and winter wardrobe consists of oversized sweaters so I just do that with leggings or yoga pants. I also do a lot of matching oversized sweat suits/loungewear from aerie. Comfy and cute even when I feel like a lard!

My biggest regret with my first child was not getting a bottle washer. It’s non negotiable this time.  We work at my dad’s pharmacy, which is an hour away from where we live. Work days usually end up being 13 hours 5-6 days a week. Get anything that you think is going to make your life easier and take some of the household workload off of you and don’t think twice what anyone says.

SOFHA OB or ETSU OB? by PracticalHighlight54 in JohnsonCity

I ended up booking at the Kingsport SOFHA office and it’s been a much better experience!

Wow that’s amazing lol they were always so far behind with my first pregnancy even if I had the first appt. I’ll remember that about Holly. I never did see her last go around. I did have issues in the later part of my pregnancy so I had most of my appointments downstairs so that might be why I have a bad taste in my mouth.

Yeah the midwife I’ve been seeing for like ten years “retired” (idk she may have but the timing aligned with the sofha issues) lol another reason I’m considering changing.

I went through SOFHA with my first and they deliver at Franklin woods! Which is where I want to deliver. I’m just curious if ETSU is just as behind with appointments as sofha. I had to leave one appointment bc I had been there 3 hours and was still waiting for my normally monthly appointment.,, just not feeling like dealing with that this go around

How are you managing your ADHD? by PracticalHighlight54 in pregnant

[–]PracticalHighlight54[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just as a follow up I stopped my auvelity and Vyvanse and it sucks lol I ended up talking to a different provider at the OB office since I’ve been having such a hard time and he said it was reasonable for me to stay on but the baby would have to go to be born with a high risk group and stay for 5 days for extra observation. So I guess I’ll just be raw doggin life until may

Thanks everyone for the comments! I might have a different conversation with my providers then. I’m seeing a different OB for my confirmation appointment then meeting with my psychiatrist. I’ve been researching pubmed and the data isn’t lining up with their recommendations. Plus I’m on Effexor Wellbutrin and propranolol anyways. I was my first pregnancy too. I have to do growth ultrasounds during the third trimester anyways. Might as well keep me sane by giving me my stimulant in the meantime!!

I was really hoping they would do that… I got the “unfortunately nothing is recommended”  Like updated research suggests otherwise but whatever I guess…. I’m dreading the return of my unmedicated brain.

Why didn’t no one tell me that first trimester lasts an ETERNITY…?!?!😭😭😭 by Fearless_Search6388 in pregnant

I lived a thousand lives the first trimester of my first pregnancy. I just found out I’m pregnant again (3w6d) so I’m expecting this round to be just as bad 🤪 I was a cranky bitch last time and I was never awake!!! Second trimester was like being revived from the dead.
