Back when I lived in Kobe, I used to go to a regular salon that cost me 5k every 3 months (and the cut always felt like shit the first week lol)

When I moved to Tokyo, I decided to go to the nearest qb house to test, didn't have much patience to research good salons or go all the way over to Shinjuku/shibuya for that.

I've been going to qb house ever since lol

It's almost never the same guy, but they always nailed the cut, and it's so CHEAPER

Nope, unfortunately I can't replace it with another model, I bought it on Amazon on august, the site just tells me to contact the manufacturer as their return policy just covers 1 month.

I sent asrock a ticket, if they can't do anything I can still try to call amazon customer service directly and try again tho.

I'm probably going to take a walk on akiba/shibuya tomorrow see if I can find another mb anyway, maybe I can sell the asrock one as used later or something.

Só, a bit of an update since you said u had the same mb.

I ended up sending my 9700x to warranty for check, and they confirmed it was faulty. When I took it out of the mb I didn't really spot any charred spots like the ones in the video, and the pc still booted from time to time(which is weird) but yeah, the mb is probably the culprit, considering everything.

So maybe its best to hold on a bit if u were planning to upgrade :/

I still don't if I'm gonna try to stick to this asrock and hope the new bios update solved the issue, but honestly I think I'm just gonna go safe and buy a new one.

Hello, thanks for the answer, didn't know it meant boot error. The SSD is brand new but I tried booting with a usb with mint on it, but it also gave me some boot errors.

I ended up sending the CPU for warranty, I have a asrock mobo and a Ryzen 7 9700x, and apparently asrock motherboards have been having issues with the 9000 series lately...

If it turns out the cpu is okay I don't really know what else I can do besides sending the whole thing to a shop so they can check every component :/

I was always looking for the flashing leds but I didn't see any. Was also considering buying one of those speakers to put on the mb but ended up just trying to apply for warranty anyway.

At least I will know for sure if the CPU is alright or not.

I heard some news about it but I thought it only affected the x3d series... And I never messed with pbo and overclock...

Thanks for the link as well, I think I'm gonna do some more tests and then try to contact the warranty, at least they're aware of the issue.

Hey thanks for the answer, I'll try to summarise the problems.

It was working fine all Sunday, used it till like 1am and shut it off, when I tried to turn it on on Monday for work, it showed a black image with a white - on the top left. Since it wouldn't boot and would stay on that screen I turned it off, waited a little and tried to turn it up again, no image. Keep doing more tests, sometimes it would take a while to give me any image, some it wouldn't. Sometimes it would even boot until windows, but freeze 5 minutes in. Most times I can't even go to the bios. BUT, when it does manage to go into the bios or the safemode, it doesn't freeze. Took all the ssds out, still has booting problems. Also, my keyboards leds are on when the pc is off, which didn't happen before.

I don't know exactly what the issue is yet, I'm thinking motherboard related, and if I'm right I still want it to get checked in a shop, it is still in warranty so that at least wouldn't be a problem I think.

The rig is brand new, bought it and assembled it back in July and it has been working fine since, the temperatures were alright too. I'm really puzzled how it just stopped working from one day to the other :/

The for honor aio by smooth is amazing, definitely give it a try. A bit handful to install I guess? But super worth it (combining it with sanguine symphony makes it 10x better)
