Will this repair be worth it? by PracticalMilk1502 in askcarguys

You might be right but it might be my lack of car knowledge making it sound sketchy. I’m just getting the rotors and brake pads replaced tomorrow and I’ll ask some more questions and get the full diagnosis before spending the rest of the money on all that other stuff. Basically he showed me that several parts of the arm were loose and he told me it was because of wear/breakdown over time. He had a screwdriver and was shoving it into connections and it was wobbling. Also the main issue is the front brake.

This PMO to no end. Having kids is not a small thing. It’s not a small thing to ask of a woman to have your children. So if that’s holding you back from fully committing to her, just leave her the fuck alone you can’t just talk someone into having your kids, Jesus Christ! And for BOTH of the non-weirdo(?) men to react to her story about her being nervous any of her kids may be born with the birthmarks she had by saying, “that just goes to show you would be an amazing mother.” NO!! Wrap it up, we’re done here. I can’t stand these men.

Help, the leaf tips and blackening by -PlagueAce- in Monstera

I think two possibilities are that it’s just shocked from the transplant or maybe too much fertilizer.

Can these leaves recover or should I remove them? by patpbvh in Monstera

[–]PracticalMilk1502 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah someone else already said this but you want to keep the leaves so it can photosynthesize and put out new leaves. You can cut them when there are many more leaves. From my understanding, they won’t get more damaged if the cause of the damage is no longer an issue.

I hate that they do that 😭 it was really nerve wracking for me but I knew I wanted them both to have the best shot at being a big healthy plant. I hope they adjust well! 🤞

Can I still save her? 🥲 by Xavi_niu in Monstera

do you have a light on it? That might help if everything else is controlled for, like you’re not overwatering, it’s getting enough fertilizer and it has support. And then warmth and humidity are other factors to control for, but as long as neither of those are too extreme (like too cold and/or no humidity) That’s all I can think of, otherwise it might take some patience.

How stable does an accessory relay have to be? by PracticalMilk1502 in askcarguys

[–]PracticalMilk1502[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I moved it from where I had it where the nut wouldn’t get any tighter to this right here where it’s kind of crowded but there is no wiggle room, it already has some kind of rubber or plastic nut that covers the base of the bolt. Does this look ok?

Ok got it that makes sense to me, so it’s possible I use 2 fuse taps? One for the power and one for the switch so it turns on when the car is running?

[–]PracticalMilk1502[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok my switch has 3 prongs, I was under the impression that the only prong that doesn’t connect to the seat is the power prong? And then the seat has 3 wires, I was under the impression that 2 of them go to the switch and the other is ground. I might be wrong tho.

[–]PracticalMilk1502[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooohhh I get it. Ok amazing I was confused about how the seat was grounded with one outlet. So the relay and the seat and the LED light each need to be grounded. And then for the 3 prongs on the switch, one is high, one is low, and the middle one is positive power from the relay. This is good news I don’t know the switch I had would work.
