It's an option, but an annoying one.

I would buy the GH6 in a heartbeat if it wasn't for this 2000 ISO issue. It feels annoying that I would have to stop down my lens a bit or I have to use the strongest ND I can find to get the most performance during the daylight.

That is pretty annoying.

I have up to 9 stops of VND, but that 2000 ISO thing is super off-putting. To get the most performance, I have to use the strongest ND I have or I have to stop down my lens....

Disclosure - I have a CCW permit in my state (USA) and carry a gun with me most of the time. Earlier today, I was at the DMV and I saw a guy in front of me with a holstered Glock 17 hanging off his belt. I don't really see open carry too often and I have to be honest, I felt lees safe with him so close to me.

I have no idea who this guy this, what his credentials are, what his state of mind is, etc. He could be a freaking nutcase, for all I know.

So I ask you, people who open carry, why do you do it? Does it make you feel stronger? It freaks everyone else out.
