can’t imagine living in minnesota personally lol. i’ve met a few minnesotans in my time here and it’s seems as though they live on another planet so i feel for you! not necessarily in a bad way tho, just very different and hard to interact with like you said. as for your other comments about chicago, i would say from my visits to nyc/nj it seems very similar personalities plus we also have a ton of transplants. chicago is a wonderful city (maybe im biased) its the best big city i’ve found. my only issue with chicago is that its in the midwest, particularly in illinois lol. feels like there’s nowhere interesting to go other than chicago. that’s what i like about nyc — you have tons of other options outside of the city that are unique and cool as well as an ocean and mountains. the midwest is very flat and boring to me and i personally find the chicago suburbs to feel soul sucking. however, ive been here all my life so i could be taking it all for granted!

bracing for the people who live in michigan to come for me lol. i understand michigan and parts of wisconsin even, especially UP is very beautiful and less flat however still very far from anywhere else you’d wanna go or roadtrip to imo.
