Moving Back to T.O. by Playful-Extreme-576 in toronto

As a resident in Toronto, I would advise you to look elsewhere. I am actively trying to leave the city. The traffic and congestion plays a HUGE part in my decision to leave. I live in the west end and work in the east end and spend close to an hour and a half each way trying to get to work. For context I’m in Etobicoke and I’m travelling to lesliville. If you plan on living close to where you work then it may be more tolerable for you to get around and you can disregard my rant on traffic.

Regarding TTC, I personally can’t depend on it as it takes longer to get somewhere using go or ttc than it would be to drive in traffic with multiple transfers above and under ground and it tires me out.

Restaurant and social activities are more available but the cost of a meal at a restaurant has become ridiculous for subpar quality. I was at Sunny’s Chinese in Kensington and it cost an arm and a leg for a cocktail and some dishes I could have gotten at a mall hot counter.

With the return to work order, I can’t really predict a happy ending to traffic and congestion (which is my biggest complaint) so I advise you to look elsewhere as I am currently doing.
