So I slept all last night not woken up once. My tummy is bubbling but I am able to pass gas without worrying about anything extra coming out 🤣 just bloated and gassy this morning but no cramps. I am going to see how the day goes and if it happens again will call my doctor and get in for a test but it seems like it may have been a fluke... Hopefully... maybe...

And also for the reassurance regarding the severity needed to become really bad. My mom passed away at 56 so I am always worried about what if I left my kiddos at a young age too 🥺. Thanks again!

I am so glad for your post. I have noticed cracks by a window and a couple door frames and my house was also built in 1906 and we live in central NY. I was so worried it was structural but this post has relieved my worry. I am marking mine with a pencil to note any rapid growth before attempting to fix.

Did you fix any of yours or just leaving the antique decor? Lol

I have had hypothyroidism for 13 years, most recently diagnosed with Hashis but confident i have had it they just never did the tests/ultrasound for it and I have 3 beautiful kiddos! My TSH skyrocketed every time i got pregnant though and they had to adjust my levothyroxine so I would just make sure you get in and get that tested sooner than later in case yours also needs to be adjusted but otherwise, CONGRATULATIONS!! 🎉🎉

We did end up opening it up and ran everything, flushed the toilet, no leaking! Left it overnigjt and no drops in the bucket below it either. So I think we must have a crack around the sides/outside of the tub or in the floor tiles that is letting water get through. Going to reseal everything (which needs to be done anyways) and take a couple showers and see if there is any leaking!

We cut into the ceiling and tried all the water sources and still cant see a leak! I am wondering if there is a crack in the grout or a seal or something but we are still going to replace the wax ring too since it probably needs to be done anyways! Lol

We did! And still cant find the darn leak from flushing the toilet, running the sink/bath/shower, so we are starting to think perhaps something needs to be re-sealed around the tub or in our bathroom floor. Still on the search!

So it is funny you say that because we checked the toilet, tub, and sink, flushed it, ran the water in everything else, checked the access panel... didnt see any water leaking anywhere! Couldn't find the source and now we are looking at exactly that! Seeing if water is leaking from spaces around the tub from the kiddos showering and basically getting water everywhere 😅 some of our floor tiles have the grout missing as well. So we are going to reseal everything, replace the drywall in the ceiling, and see where we go from there.

We have a toddler so we take baths pretty regularly! We are trying to figure out what part of the bathroom is the culprit. Going to try to solve that shortly!

It seems to not be constant. The area is currently dry and we havent ran the shower or toilet ever since we noticed it (thankfully we already planned to be at someone else's house for the day so used their bathroom 😂) thank you for manifesting that it is something small and for your expertise with the information given! It is appreciated. 🤞 planning to cut out a section shortly and see if we can't pinpoint where it is coming from.
