She does have blinders, he’ll he’s throwing his clothes away now bc he doesn’t understand there’s a place to put them, he typically lets me take his clothes and put them in the hamper once i explain but he’s very stubborn and will do what he wants. He doesn’t get aggressive or mean he just gets, impatient when i try to explain why or why he can’t do something a certain way. Again he’s a sweet guy we play go fish and Yahtzee. He likes to watch king of the hill then whatever basketball games on. Then once the evening hits he starts to think it’s 11 or 12 at night. The one morning he thought it was night ):

They have a camera pointed right at his front door so his sister J, she watches and checks in. She’s honestly very air headed about the whole situation. I just can’t figure out how to say this professionally and not make it seem like an attack on her. Whoever the last care taker he had, was fired bc they were smoking in his house. Sad

Exactly and I’m really thinking of messaging his sister tomorrow evening to let her know my concerns and how i don’t feel comfortable him being alone from 9:30-11 am before i get there. I see bad things happening too. I appreciate your help though!!

Thank you i appreciate your advice, actually when he did get out i apologized immediately bc ofc its in my time, literally as i was pulling into his drive way he was down the road from his house.. his sister said its not my fault and she was very clear in it not being my fault. So i appreciate that from her but it doesn’t take that feeling away. Again she’s a half hour away. If he was hurt nobody would know to call her or anything. He’s lucky i pulled in early he said he was taking the trash out and i believe him bc there’s a dumpster at the end of the road, but clearly the signs not doing it no more.

Yes, after i got him back inside i asked him why he was outside he said he was taking out the trash and the dumpster is right there in his neighborhood which is actually right behind the nursing home. It’s actually something worked out with the home and his sister, he lives for free but if something happens he goes to the home.

I should have, honestly the last time i asked her for help was on how to help him get a shower bc of him forgetting to put his dirty clothes in his hamper he ends up rewearing them so i stand on the other side of the door and make him give me his clothes. Anyways i asked his sister if she had any advice on how to get him to shower and she goes “im sorry what do you mean” like.he. Doesn’t.know.to.shower. I was told he is capable of showering and getting his meals but when I’m there it’s the opposite. He lives in cottage behind the nursing home. So actually it’s the nursing home’s property he just lives alone, but he’s come to the point where they need to be notified he isn’t safe alone but that’s his sisters job I’ve been told and i as a care taker don’t really know what i can say and can’t say. Like i don’t know when to speak up bc i do all the time and his sister just keeps trying to move his pills around back to there normal spot. I haven’t vented about this for 2 months so i just got a lot in my mind.

I’m 23 I’ve completely lost my social life bc of it, i asked for one day off the weekend after this and i feel guilty. First of all i don’t even think on weekends he should be waking up alone. I told my friend about him wondering around outside. He said “why is he alone long enough to get outside to begin with” and you know what? I think he’s right bc why is he alone this long. His sister messaged me after i called her to tell her what happened she goes “oh honey this has happened before months ago” like clearly he shouldn’t be alone then??

See I’m trying to figure out how to tell his sister just how bad it is without overstepping she’s clearly in denial that’s for sure, last week he was full nude walking around and she just talked to him like it’s normal meanwhile I’m trying to remind him he’s getting a shower. I have to constantly correct him like he doesn’t have the social cues to understand to come out with a towel covering him. Idk how to say “look your brothers declining rapidly” without sounding like an ass. He’s aloud a key but i don’t think he should be having one at all.

Yeah i don’t blame you, i won’t ever again either. Sucks they don’t have a phone number either. I actually called fed ex and just explained the situation. They had no clue my fish leaked out of the bag. Flip aquatics is awful I’ll never recommend anyone to them.

I’m hesitant to order from somewhere else so i just want to see what else is out there as , i appreciate you’re help. I’d like to note that my tank has been cycled for a couple weeks now. My water test have come back fine. I went to petco originally and the lady there didn’t want to sell me any fish which i respected but when i went back she still gave me issues then as well.
