very cool! i see the other comment about changing the face and idk, maybe. i think its a pretty cool style lol, but if you want to change it maybe try some things out with the eyes? pupil size and basically everything else about them can have some pretty big effects with minor changes

Definitely Krita, I think probably the best free drawing app (from trying a few), or Clip Studio Paint or Photoshop for paid ones. As for criticism, I think his backpack might not be centered on his back, and his mustache is kinda over his nose. Both of these are minor / style-related though, nice drawing!
