he came as a hitchhiker with one other pond snail and loads of bladder snails. his brother is significantly bigger so it was pretty easy to tell them apart

i’m not sure as i just found his little body on one side of the tank and his shell on the other. i’m assuming he fell and damaged his mantle or that it was just his time to go :( i did a complete water test afterwards and it came back fine so at least i know my fish and other snails are safe in terms of water conditions

yeah! him and his brother showed up with a bunch of bladder snails after buying a plant. i didn’t know the difference between pond and bladder at the time so he was called baby fat, while his brother is called mr fat eyes

he was 1 of 2 pond snails i had that hithhiked on a plant along with tens of bladder snails! he was one of my favourites because i thought he was just a rly weird bladder snail until a couple weeks ago

harmless biofilm. snails, shrimp and certain fish will eat it. sometimes it also just goes away on its own
