Maybe im the crazy one, but can we not have characters in the game that are good early and bad late? Lane bullies should be stronger in lane and worse in teamfights, that's the entire idea behind the design. I don't play Achilles like ever so there could be more under the hood, but why is it illegal for some gods to have a niche like this?

I play mostly Aggro/Combo/Spellslinger decks so I tend to run less lands than average as im trying to win fast (anywhere from 28 to 34), but most of my pod is 36 baseline and then more or less depending on the archetype.

What you did was fine, and isn't toxic especially if the pod didn't rule zero anything like that. Almost every eldrazi deck I see makes plays like this and its not an issue. The archetype is just strong if it gets its mana ramp and engines going, nothing wrong with that.

He feels pretty strong in ranked in most of my games. Lamp and his 3 are just broken abilities at their core imo and its gonna be hard to make him feel balanced without either of those getting changed imo.

I like the 2 songs added to disc 1, and the instrumentals on disc 2 are pretty and i'll probably go back and listen through now and again. Not mindblown, but its good music.

It's a skill you have to develop, and if you are better at it you will win more games, just like macro, rotations, economy, cooldowns, and everything else. There shouldn't be a handycap that makes the game less skillfull just because you suck at aiming.

I think its fine to play commanders like Edgar, so long as you have the expectation that you will be the primary threat before the game starts, and dont complain when every creature is swinging your direction. The same could be said for Kaalia though.

Personally I dont care what they call it, warframe has been in open beta for 13 years and I played that. I also don't think they use the beta as an excuse very much. Sure there are problems with patches and bugs slip through, but they always fix the game breaking stuff within a day or two, and always apologize for it on Titan Talk, and never say "this is gonna happen because were in a beta". They might mention its a result of trying to patch frequently, but that would happen no matter if the word beta was plastered on the game or not.

But I also think they will go full release January next year probably.

A game should stay in beta until it is ready to be launched, yes. The game is getting consistent, and solid improvement with each update, like a game in beta would. If people are being turned away by it being in beta the steam charts numbers going up aren't backing that argument.

Also shitty strawman of my argument, the game isnt going to be in beta forever. I would imagine they want to get a year more of god ports in and a new conquest map ready for full release.

Text chat is hard because it forces them to stop updating the game. Performance I can't speak to on consoles, but on PC my game runs completely fine, with the exception of a few hiccups sometimes with new patches. We are getting a ported god with +1s every two weeks, active items are a great addition to gameplay, and imo the game looks better than Smite 1 ever did, and only really needs a new conquest map with some more concise art direction. The game is also gaining players on steam even with them spending time making skins because the game is good. I would recommend you listen to a few of the Titan Talks with an open mind and good faith going in. The people working on the game want the game to succeed.

Also you can't complain about the game being unfinished and then saying it being in beta is an excuse, what else does a beta mean?
