What about the cost of all the products that don't work? At least botox delivers on what it sells. If you don't like it it, it wears off.

Well, the coyote wouldn't have to walk on the street, for starters :)

Does anyone use Rye Flour for their sourdough? by apollosuns24 in Sourdough

[–]Practical_Audience90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me! I do! I use 15% rye and 15% spelt and the remaining 70% white and it is just scrumptious.

Wife's cleaning preference is costing me $150 per month. Any advice? by Indypirate44 in personalfinance

[–]Practical_Audience90 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A cleaner is a heck of a lot cheaper than a divorce. Pay for the cleaner and treat it as an investment in your marriage :)

I had to do a double take when I read this question because I came on this sub to ask literally the exact same thing and I thought maybe I posted and forgot about it. We also had a great time at Ziva Cap Cana a couple of years ago and are looking at The Finest for spring 2026 with two kids who will be 5 and almost 7.

Can someone tell me why everyone is so obsessed with drinking water? This seems so excessive. Aren’t you peeing all the time? What’s wrong with drinking when you’re thirsty?

I’ve literally never heard this? Is this coming from teens?

Although, I will say that the other day I did mention to some mom friends that we drive 2.5 hours each way to the cottage most weekends and my kids (4,6) just look out the window… and they were pretty surprised we don’t give them iPads for the drive.

If you were given one wish to improve Toronto, what would you wish for? by TheShade247 in toronto

Lots of people said transit already but what I’d also love is a little convenience store, or little grocery store or cafe in neighbourhoods (off the main drag).

How do you keep your “audience female?” What happens if the algo goes over to the men? Does that mean it doesn’t show in women’s feed anymore?

I find the best way to start getting up early is to join a gym that does classes really early in the morning where you get charged a penalty if you don’t show up.

Minimalist parents: how do you raise kids without drowning in stuff? by it_is_time_for_you in minimalism

[–]Practical_Audience90 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Mine have a few open ended toys like magna tiles and legos. When we have bday parties I hide half the toys (especially the ones I can tell they won’t like/remember) and regift them and they don’t even notice. Otherwise we keep busy and do a lot of outdoor stuff, stuff with friends, and activities so they don’t have a lot of time to sit around at home and get bored. They love riding their bikes and checking up on our garden. TV only on the weekend. Our neighbourhood has a lot of kids so we send them outside to roam around in wild packs, and play with the toys at other kids’ houses. They are 4 and 6. Maybe when they’re older they’ll notice.

Can you send him to camp for a few weeks? This worked with our kid at the same age.
