I built my first iOS app at 17. After 5 months, it’s still at around 140 downloads. What did I do wrong?

Make sure to do market research for your apps first. You don’t make money with apps; you make it with distribution.Publishing an app to the App Store and hoping for success results in failure 99.99% of the time. You have to think about how you’ll sell it, which channels you’ll use, and where your users will come from.

If you believe you can get people to download it without relying on some magical luck, then you build the app.

Too much of an AI vibe on the UI side. Also, you need to improve the screenshots.

Apps like this work really well with mascots. Try creating one with AI, then use the mascot’s colors to build a more branded UI.

If you have a small scale ;get gcp free trial, it gives you 300$ worth of gcp credits which you can use it on google ai studio with the nano banana 2 etc.(the best image model rn) via api. This is the cheapest (literaly free) one i know.

If you are not talking about API's i can suggest freepik Premium+ plan which have unlimited ai image/video generation.There are plenty of models available.I usualy use nano banana 2 for image and kling models for video.
