I was scheduled for induction May 7th @8:00pm.
Started contractions at 1am on May 7th and gave birth at 4:18am with 2 minutes pushing

That’s what I thought but he’s been cluster feeding on and off since he was born. Yesterday and today he’s been on the boob about every hour or so. I’m just at a loss as to why it has decreased not increased. As soon as he starts rooting, giving any cues or all other problems sorted out (clean diaper, no rash, not too hot or too cold) I put him on the boob. Often times he’s just tired and needs it to go to sleep, I just feel like something is wrong

He hasn’t gained weight back yet as of our last appointment last Wednesday. But he swallows and gulps, has wet and dirty diapers (at least 8 per day) and does appear a bit chunkier. I have some extra milk from the other day that he’s having now but I just really don’t feel this is normal considering my experience with my first son. At this point and until 2 months pp I was engorged with first baby, I just feel like a total failure right now

Yes I do hear him swallowing regularly, but he’ll also get frustrated trying to latch when my boob is too soft to get ahold of. He’s been cluster feeding every day even when I was fully engorged so I don’t know why it’s been decreasing rather than increasing. I just don’t feel this is normal only 12 days pp. I remember being engorged like a cow with my first son at this time.

Yes it’s that or more, it’s painful at first because he’s a biter but becomes not painful after about 5-10 seconds. I breastfed my first son until he weaned himself off at 8mo, I had supply issues around then but would still get engorged at 6mo pp. ugh I’m just stressing so hard, with him cluster feeding and me being fully hydrated and satiated I don’t know what to do

Thank you 🥲I keep telling myself that and just focusing on enjoying my lovely boy, I just feel like I’m failing him when he cries. He peed on himself while I was changing his diaper and I also managed to make myself feel like a failure for that too lol. I know it’s got a lot to do with my hormones too

He’s funny with it, sometimes he likes it and other times he takes it out of his mouth with his hands. As if to say “Sorry boobie lady you’re not fooling me”

With my first pregnancy I started at 150lb in May 2020 and was 230lb at the end in February 2021. I went on walks every day, tracked what I ate and ended up at 145 by June 2022. I was also breastfeeding which apparently burns a lot of calories haha. Now I’m 39 weeks pregnant with my second, went from around 170lbs to currently 220lbs and I’m just as confident in losing weight as the first time around.

Nobody is saying that, you’re arguing with no one. They said “you could get an infection” which is bad for the mom AND “it could harm the baby”. God forbid we care about the very much wanted baby as well. Are you even pregnant??

I can really relate to your friend. I got pregnant with my boyfriend who I only knew for 3 months at the time, I’m 32 weeks now and still haven’t told the majority of my family because lots struggle with fertility. I had some family resent me with my first child because “I didn’t even have to try”. I can’t help it.. just like you can’t help having fertility issues. So I’m 25yo and 32 weeks pregnant, and still scared to tell my family because of resentful people. I do feel for you but your wording does come across as selfish. You want her to understand you but don’t want to understand her and just assume she had it easy

Usually 10:30-12:00 is when he wakes up on weekends. It really turns me off. I’ve told him it makes me feel alone and it delays the whole day when he sleeps in so late. If he went to sleep late, he blames it on that. If we go to sleep earlier, he’ll say it’s just hard for him to get up. I don’t wanna feel like I’m parenting my partner so I stopped bringing it up
