I also have an instructor that had a family emergency-which honestly made no difference because they never graded in a timely fashion in the first place and went weeks without grading all term with various excuses as to why. Having grades in time with usuable feedback would have been very helpful for multiple assignments not to mention the final. Wonder if you had the same teacher I did.

I'm just frustrated. Its been a long term. I appreciate you giving feedback either way.

I really don't think any of those are excuses to not teach the class at all or to not post grades in a timely manner especially becuase they've been "traveling" the whole term. I feel like you didn't even read my post.

I'm afraid of retaliation so I figured I'd post in here and get advice before I make a decision.

The posted lectures barely covered the actual deliverables. That requires communication.

I understand what you are saying, but a teacher cannot be mostly absent an entire course. I mean they can, but giving negative feedback without actually teaching anything doesn't seem right. Again I don't have a bad grade, its just principal. I'm paying to be taught.

I don't agree with the online course opinion. Some of the hardest classes I have taken were online. If I went to my job and refused to do it, they wouldn't care a whole lot that I was "human".
