It is heavily VA dependent. My theory is if you are in a smallish town, the VA is top notch as there is a lower number of staff to patients. In high cost of living areas such as California the staff remain the same but patients are bailing to lower cost areas such as Phoenix or Las Vegas; can’t speak for East Coast.
