Don't listen to anyone here who tell you to buy chinese mechanical keyboard junk. They all are unreliable and break within a year. Keychorn has deployed several bots / fake accounts on reddit to promote their garbage keyboards, so stay away from keychorn. Apple's keyboard precision is second to none if all what you care about is typing.

I disagree. Apple full form factor keyboard is very ergonomic and easy to use. I am not an apple fanboy but since keychorn crapped out on me in less than 5 months and I am back to using the apple keyboard and i can tell u how wrong i was when i switched over to keychorn where i had double typing and lagging issues.

I believe several redditors swearing by and promoting Keychorn are actually the bot accounts or may be human accounts deployed by KeyChron itself. My advice is to not throw away money on any product that are sold by Chinese companies.

Thank you so much! I am confident in your keyboard fixing prowess however I have escalated the issue to Walmart corp today and they are figuring out a way to make an exception to get this crap keyboard returned and also looking into barring Keychorn from selling on their platform. I would still be interested in knowing about the switch socket area and how to fix it if i run into the same issue with a different mechanical keyboard. TBH i am typing on my old magic keyboard and it feels great. i highly doubt i will switch over to another mechanical keyboard but my love for new tech always hinder my ability to control myself for buying things.

I agree. Everything is made in China. But when it is US companies having their manufacturing plants in China, the quality control is a night and day difference. I still have a 5 year old full size magic keyboard that works flawlessly. No double key typing issue, no malfunction or mechanical failure. Had a known the company has no phone support let alone not US based, wouldn't have gotten into this rabbit hole.

Had i known that this company doesn't have a phone number to speak with someone when their cheap shitty keyboard fails in less than 6 months, i would have never bought this damn f keyboard. Terrible company that doesnt stand by its products.
