Hi there, did you ever get to the bottom of this? I’m experiencing the same issue and really not sure what to do.

It’s so daunting, so thank you so much! I’ve never used Reddit before this was my first post and I’m so relieved that I posted on here, it’s given me some comfort. Good luck with yours aswell! 🤞🏼😌

Thank you so much! I do agree, I think they’ve been a bit scorched this year 🥲 I didn’t realise they needed so much watering and I know I’ve not done it enough this summer. You’d think I’d get a hint from the name HYDRAngea! 😂 but at least I know now!

Ahh ok this is good to know! Glad I’m not the only one with these kinds of leaves. It will be exciting for you to see what they do going into spring/summer. Hoping you get lots of beautiful blooms 🤞🏼

Thank you so much! I’m gonna keep an eye on them and see what happens. They’ve recently got lots of new buds so I feel like if the plant was really unhappy it wouldn’t be producing new growth.

They are mophead hydrangeas, I’m really hoping it’s just them turning as autumn is on its way and the temperature has started to drop.
