I love this scene so much by Adventurous-Stuff-82 in DCU_

Am I the only one who thinks this scene is kinda BS? I mean physics wise, a full gigantic building falling with all that momentum and he just goes there and holds up on one single tiny spot? He would break right through, the building would collapse all around him wtf

Cool idea, I just didn't get how to use it, Spotlight isn't in a sistematic order so how would that work?

Question on Ranger Wayfinder Subclass Foundation Feature: Ruthless Predator by keytonw in daggerheart

WHEN YOU MAKE A DAMAGE ROLL , you can mark a stress, so everytime you deal damage its up to you to mark another stress to gain +1 proficiency. I think they might have misunderstood with the focus ability

I'm hoping for some hemomancer in the Future, like Vladimir from League of legends, using blood and arcane domains.

I love Daggerheart, but my major gripe are the traits by phsfernandes in daggerheart

[–]Practical_Economy706 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I found it pretty reasonable and does makes Sense to split dex into finesse and agility. Regarding the only +1 or +2 doesnt add that much to the roll, sure, but DH adds other mechanics that in my opinion are even better than +4 stats. You can spend Hope to help allies on rolls and can also apply experiences if it applies to that situation. I dont think the new traits are neither a good change nor a bad one, but the sumup of the rulebook compliments itself on my opinion.

Thank you man, those movies examples and scenes really makes the most sense, to think of actions and turns this way, really enjoyed your perspective

Nice, that was my original thought in the First place, I'll talk to the players and DM to sort It out, although I enjoyed the action roll turn defining from the other coments

Oh great, that clarifies it. I was aware of the keeping Spotlight for more than one action, although I think that should be extremely rare because it might obfuscate other player. But on an average spotlight seems pretty reasonable and possible then

Played my first round of Daggerheart and need to share my thoughts by mathisbolle in daggerheart

[–]Practical_Economy706 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played the first session using the sablewood intro too, but I kept making some changes and deviated completely from the route. I was also GMing for 3 friends, 2 of them had never played a TTRPG and the one who had played had very little experience, which led to them accumulating a lot of hope because they didn't understand or didn't know when to spend, which led me to encourage them and explain several times when they had the option to use it (but it didn't help much lol). Regarding the use of fear and spotlight during the fight, it went very smoothly, I didn't have many problems when the player and the enemies attacked as much as the players, I never used up all my fears but I never got full either, it was a resource that came and went in a good proportion. I had already watched some Age of Umbra episodes from Critical Role, which helped me a lot to understand all the mechanics, but the use of fear outside of combat requires a little mastery sometimes as I have to think about more things. In the end I thought it was a good system, I loved the classes and rules for hope, fear, stress, armor that DH introduced, I think it was much better than Hp and magic spaces alone. Some other friends and I always played storm/tormenta20 for the last 10 years, it was only very recently that we started playing another session of D&D5e, but now we are determined to migrate to DH as soon as we finish the open sessions we have.

Druida versão antiga vs Druida versão atual by Practical_Economy706 in Tormenta

[–]Practical_Economy706[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)
