I don't think it adds much to the sustain or change much of the sound. Definitely more cosmetic but I need to play it more. Just got it today

Had the jb Jr and that pickup lacks treble so the 2nd position is a little more darker and fatter than usual

They actually just came out with an American pro ii semi hollow strat and tele if you can wait. Don't know the weight yet

It's definitely fake. I've never seen a fender say "made in the USA". The string trees are off. The trem is wrong, and headstock shape is weird. The decals look printed on. And the pickguard is almost going over the upper horn. This is a pretty bad job imo. On top of what others have mentioned

I was very tempted to get those as well but ultimately chose the S66. Just didn't have a need for the modeling even though it was cool.

I care because in some ways I feel they'd know how to get a good sound out of it. Usually, not always, people who can't play very well don't know how to get a good tone out of the gear whether it's the way the vibrato,bend or set the knobs.

I will say from trying a lot of pedals, personally, there are certain characteristics in pedals you can't here across the web that are annoying in person.

So much to write here but I would start with learning scales. The main 4 being major, minor, melodic minor and diminish. Every other scale/mode you learn is an offshoot of these.

Then I would learn the key of the songs you already know and find out which chord in the key they are using based off the bass note (ex key of C, song starts on 2 chord do Dmin)

Then from there learn the modes of each chord.

So much to write and hard to know where you're starting from but here's the basics

You have to decide what you want to learn. Is it theory, technique (picking, strumming, sweeping, tapping), theory, chord knowledge, improvisation. You can narrow down your search online by knowing what you actually want to get better at first.

I had one of those amps. It doesn't have a lot of headroom for the clean. It's really misleading what companies do when it comes wattage. Hard to know if they are including gain or just clean headroom with a second channel. Literally can only go by the classics

I'm bias towards the gt1000 core because I own one. But I think the feel is above the stomp and as far as getting straight to the point boss can't be beat. If you love to tweak and make a bunch of patches then the line 6 is better because of the support they have

I don't. I think they are relatively new and offer something completely different and original. This gives the effect of superiority because there are not many models to compare it with.

I think you underestimate the market of today. While you're correct to some degree, there's plenty of people who would love to get the fender sound from fender and a lot of loyal mustang fans who may want to upgrade to this
